Submitted by Gordon Ryoo Booker is a bookworm. He loves to read books and he also likes to write books. So that’s how he earned his nickname; Booker. When Booker wants to type something, Booker always uses Pop’s, Bookers grandfather’s, typewriter which has keys that were worn from years of t yping. Booker only uses this typewriter to type. He says that the typewriter had typed many words, sentences and paragraphs. Booker says that this typewriter is better than any computer or word processor. He says it’s because the typewriter has a history. Booker says that Pop had been typing newspapers on the typewriter for 25 years. So Booker thinks he can write wonderful books on this typewriter. And you can read one of Booker’s stories in the paragraph below called “Space Cows.” which Booker says is the best eight chapters in the whole universe. A-MOO-GA! A-MOO-GA! Warning lights flashed on the cowship. Warning signals sounded the alert. The ship blasted through darkest space at warp speed, out of control. Out of control and headed for a crash landing. A-MOO-GA! THIRTY SECONDS TO IMPACT! The voice of the ships computer counted off the seconds. The seconds left until the crash. Calmly and professionally, the space cows prepared for a crash landing. They had practiced the drill many times before in preparation for possible disaster. Now the disaster has come. While I was reading this book, I thought that Booker really likes to write. Let me show you an example. One time, when Booker’s mom had to take Libba to the mall, Booker sneaked into Libba’s room to use the typewriter. So he started to continue his story. Space Cows. But, when he reached the typewriter, he saw his sister’s autobiography. It was really boring. I just don’t want to spoil it for you. But when Libba came back, Booker quickly typed his sister’s autobiography and he said it was painful to type his sister’s autobiography since it was so boring. After he typed the autobiography, he quickly hid in Libba’s closet. I recommend this book to people who need help writing stories. Since The main character, Booker loves to write books. This book will give you some examples of Booker’s books too. You will know they are Booker’s books because the font looks like it was really printed by a typewriter. I really enjoyed this book. It had some humor too. So if you want to read this book, I hope you enjoy it! And if you enjoyed this book, there is a second book too. It’s called Fur-Ever Yours, Booker Jones.
