Dot saidshe thought that the thief was Joe because he was close to Lucky’s grandfather when he bought the ticket. The three friends left to find Joe, but they couldn’t find him. When they returned to store, Dot had disappeared! Who was the thief? Was it Dot? Joe? Or some one else? The exciting part in this story is when Ruth Rose, Dink and Josh found finger prints on the lottery ticket in the end, police caught the realby matching the prints. This book reminds me ofCam Jansen and theStolen Diamonds. Cam Jansen is a girl who likes to solve mysteries, too. It’s exciting to read and learn how to catch thieves(?).
