A to Z Mysteries: The Lucky Lottery By: Ron Roy W.P “Guys, I need you. Come to my house now. Urgent! Lucky” This book is very interesting.
Ruth Rose, Dink and Josh were good friends, who like to solve mysteries. One day when they were having a snowball fight, a guy called Lucky asked them to find his winning lottery ticket because last night it had disappeared. Dink and his friends decided to help him. First, they went to Lucky’s grandfather who had bought for Lucky. Then, they went to the lottery ticket shop and met the woman who had sold the ticket. Dot said she thought that the thief was Joe because he was close to Lucky’s grandfather when he bought the ticket. The three friends left to find Joe, but they couldn’t find him. When they returned to store, Dot had disappeared! Who was the thief? Was it Dot? Joe? Or some one else?
The exciting part in this story is when Ruth Rose, Dink and Josh found finger prints on the lottery ticket in the end, police caught the real by matching the prints. This book reminds me of Cam Jansen and the Stolen Diamonds. Cam Jansen is a girl who likes to solve mysteries, too. It’s exciting to read and learn how to catch thieves(?). If you like to read mystery books, I recommend this book to you.
