Something strange started to happen after James dropped the magic powder, the peach on the peach tree started to grow and grow and grow until it was as big as a house. When James was told to clean up the garbage near the peach tree that night, he saw a hole in the peach. The hole was big enough to let James climb in. He climbs in and realizes that there are a lot of insects as big as a human. The insects bite the stem of and the adventure begins! In this book, James is the main charter and he is a really good boy. He always helps people when they need it. For example: on page 60, the sharks are eating the peach and James thinks of a way to save the peach. I think this book is fantastic and makes you want to read on and on again and again. I recommend mostly boys to read it and people who is are interested in magic. Roald Dahl also wrote a lot of other great books like: The Magic Finger, The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlie and the Glass Elevator .Read them all!
