A Cristmas Carol Humbug Holiday

Tony Abbott
Submitted by Jae Mahn

This book is about two kids who forgot to get a book for class called ‘A Christmas Carol’. One of the kids was named Devin and the other Frankie. They both needed the book but there was only one left in the library and Frankie didn’t want to share it with Devin until he shared his cookie with her. While they were fighting, the book flew through the security gate, but the security gate zapped it and they went into the story.
They met the main character…Ebenezer Scrooge! Then they met Marley, Scrooge’s friend who had died and become a ghost. He told Scrooge and the children that if they died with sins, then they would have to carry chains and other heavy stuff. He also told them that three more ghosts would come, but when the third ghost came it didn’t talk…

I was kind of excited when they met the third ghost because it was very mysterious.
In another book called ‘Captain Underpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants’ the main characters learned a lesson like the one in this book.
My recommendation is that you’d better read the real book, ‘A Christmas Carol’.
