Kendra and Seth were staying at their grandpa’s house in Connecticut which is a big house with a lot of rules. Their grandpa told them not to go in the woods with no reason. If they do, they will be punished. Seth was so curious he sneaked into the woods and found out that it wasn’t a regular forest.
Kendra is a really good seeker. One time when Kendra was looking for the key holes in her room and she need to be a good seeker to find the key holes. Her brother Seth, who does not listen, is really curios in a good way because that helps Kendra and him know more about Fablehaven which will help them through the adventure of Fablehaven. For example, he sneaked into the woods that he was not allowed into and they were tricked by Grandpa because they were supposed to find out.
When the kids arrive at Fablehaven Grandpa gave Kendra some keys, which unlocked things in her room. And at the end she found a book from all the keys and inside book it said “Drink the milk” The mystery of“Drink the milk” That Kendra can see new things, magic things …………………..The adventure goes on when Seth and Kendra go deeper in Fablehaven. And secrets of Fablehaven are revealed while going deeper in Fablehaven.
When I was reading this book, I couldn’t take my eyes off this it is because there is non stop action in the book. Also, the author describes things so you feel as if you were the real character in the book.
People who are interested in magical creatures and adventure books are suited for this book. Also, people who like the Harry Potter series would like this even better.
After reading this book you would want more of it, so check out Rise of the Evening Star, the second book of the Fable haven series.
